Born in the 1960s in Lisbon, Carlos Pastor soon demonstrated his great affinity with the arts.

After finishing high school with the aim of studying architecture, he took a fashion design course at the then first school in the sector in Lisbon, thus beginning a long professional career in the textile sector.

At the beginning of his career, at the invitation of the then Fil Moda, he participated in the first “Young Fashion Creators” competition, winning first prize.
This was followed by a period of collaboration with a major national women's clothing brand and, later, the creation of her own brand.

But architecture was still on his horizon and, after a stint in real estate, he finished his degree.
But with a past closely linked to fabrics and fine materials, she pursued her career in the area of ​​interior architecture and decoration, opening her first store in Valencia, Spain, in 2007.

Back in Portugal, he headed south where he worked for several decoration companies, later opening his own interior design company “HC Studio Concept” in 2010 with his partner and companion, a collaboration and experience spanning 12 years.
He has completed several projects in Portugal and abroad, with the renovation and decoration of an apartment in Monaco being one of the most challenging projects of his extensive career.

But life sometimes takes unexpected turns and with the sudden departure of his partner, he restructures and reopens with the brand “Carlos Pastor Interior Design”, keeping his studio in the Algarve, Almancil and opening a new space on the outskirts of Lisbon – Estoril:

“I really wanted to go back to work in Lisbon, to be in Lisbon, although, over the years, I have never stopped responding to some requests from my clients who live outside the Algarve.
This new studio is the continuation of my journey as an interior designer, where I will develop work perhaps in a slightly more “urban” direction.
